From the Age of 3 Years

When children are approaching the age of three it is time to think about the transition into Kindergarten. This is the first steps towards school where the children become more independent and prepare for their school life.

Within the Kindergarten, we follow the EYFS and 10 areas of continuous provision available to the children so they can flow freely between activities of their choice.

Kindergarten is a stand-alone building with two rooms inside called KG1 and KG2, the ratio in Kindergarten is 1:8. As well as our Kindergarten building we take full advantage of our beautiful surroundings and make full use of our grounds outside. Our children take part in weekly P.E lessons with the P.E teacher as well as taking part in outdoor activities.

Parents are always given the opportunity to look through their child's development file to follow their progress and a midterm report is sent home for parents to read through and discuss their child's progress.

I know she has a wonderful day and I have seen for myself how much fun she is having when I have come for her early and she doesn’t want to come home.
